Barkha feels relieved when Maheshwari brings her to Purohit mansion and introduces her to everyone. Barkha befriends Mohini because she feels that she can extract vital information from her. Dev and Radhika feel relieved when Barkha informs them that she has finally gained access to Raj Purohit. Later, Dev goes out to hunt for a job, but gets dejected when he fails. However, he realises that Barkha had mentioned about some timber industry in the forest and goes there. Dev feels relieved when he finally gets the job as a woodcutter. On the other hand, Barkha manages to win Maheshwari's confidence by complaining about Daima. Maheshwari tells Viraat that Barkha will prove beneficial to them. Meanwhile, Dev returns home and is shocked find the door locked.
